This is my genre book tag

Hello my little munchkins. Sorry I once again didn’t post on Wednesday but I warned you all so that is why I am posting this little book tag today. I will be having another post on Saturday of this week and then I will be trying to get back to schedule. So this should be the last week of this year that I am all out of sorts like this. And next year I will for sure try and stick on my schedule which I will most likely be modifying also but I will let you know what it will be once we get closer to new years eve.

Anyways, why don’t we get into this tag?

Fun and Easy

The Rules:

The Rules

  • Answer the questions.
  • Tag as many people as you want.

1. What is your favorite genre?

My favorite Genre is either high or urban fantasy. I just love going into a new world whether it is somewhat like our world with a twist or a completely different world with high elements that are so complicated that you have to take a moment to think and let everything soak in to your brain.

2. Who is your favorite author from that genre

Cassandra Clare, Tomi Adeyemi, and Rick Riordan.

3. What is it about that genre that keeps pulling you back

Honestly, just the character development. Especially with these authors who really know how to make the character interesting, real,

4. What is the book that started your love for the genre?

The Infernal Devices series. I just loved the whole historical, urban fantasy element of the book and how the author made the character realistic instead of just ordinary along with how she was also one of the only people who did justice to the love triangle and made me sob like a baby at the end.

Like, if you don’t cry at the end of the book are you really even enjoying it?

5. If you have to recommend one book from your favorite genre to a non-reader, someone looking to start reading that genre, what book would you choose and why?

I would probably choose Children of Blood and Bone cause it has everything you really need and want in a book while it is still high fantasy but also easily understandable.

6. Why do you read?

Because it brings me joy!

I tag all of you!
